We Turn Complex Construction Challenges Into Well-Built Solutions

Our team of construction experts successfully builds complex and critical projects. Whether we are renovating a building during ongoing operations, or bringing companies to zero-energy impact goals in a sustainable project, Herman Construction will get it done and get it done right!

We strategically partner with trusted, experienced design teams and subcontractors from across the country. We choose our team members for their construction experience and their ability to help us safely complete projects on time and on budget.

Service Delivery Methodologies

Herman Construction is well-versed in delivering construction projects utilizing any of the following methodologies: Design-Build, Construction Manager at Risk, and Design-Bid-Build. A majority of our projects are built utilizing the design-build method. We work closely with our partner architects to design, cost, and collaboratively execute project management.

We are organizationally structured to support any customer project with our internal estimating, scheduling, and project management teams. We maintain a large subcontractor database to ensure maximum competition for projects of any size and location.

Preconstruction

We design our services and construction methods to reduce risk and waste. In preconstruction, we plan and budget the project for our customers. We understand the importance of our up-front efforts and the payoff in sourcing the best materials, subcontractors, and suppliers. We work collaboratively with our design team members to provide value analysis and cost-effective solutions to project challenges. Our role is trusted advisor and builder with all of our customers.

Construction

Herman Construction specializes in complex renovation projects with an outstanding history of completing projects ahead of schedule with exceptional safety performance. These services include interior and exterior renovations, new construction, renewable energy, civil construction, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

Herman Construction understands the kinds of challenges that owners encounter during construction projects and we are dedicated to serving each customer with exceptional care and responsiveness. We only work with experienced and pre‐qualified subcontractors and select suppliers who deliver. We believe in developing and maintaining relationships with our customers and partners to provide quality, efficiency, and exceptional performance in everything we do.

Quality Control

Quality, along with project safety, is paramount to the successful completion of each and every project. Our approach is to “do it once; do it right.” That is why we developed our own Quality Control Plan and committed it to paper. Not only does it comply with each customer’s unique quality requirements and standards, but it meets our own high standards for excellence. It adds up to seven basic steps that we follow on every project for every customer. It’s a constant reminder to never deliver anything less than the absolute best!

Safety First

Herman Construction considers safety a top priority on each and every project, regardless of size, scope, or complexity. Our commitment to the safety and health of all individuals working on or near our projects is second to none. In fact, one of our guiding principles is that work is never so urgent or important that we cannot take the time to perform it safely. Our Safety Program meets or exceeds the requirements in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and related industry standards, complying with the most stringent safety requirements. We continuously raise the bar for industry‐leading safety practices. From our commitment to safety training in topics like scaffolding and lock‐out/tag‐out, to our personal protective equipment and hazardous abatement procedures, we back up our words with action. At Herman Construction, we believe that no single task is ever important enough to risk the health or the lives of our employees, subcontractors or the general public.
